JP-18 Ford Explorer (Jeep Inspired)

Post by calvinprime » July 30th, 2012, 3:00 pm

This is my 1996 JP Ford Explorer. I took ideas from the jeep and put together my own take on it. I am 17 and this is my daily driver. Sorry its not a Jeep.. :(

I used the 8-bit decals and they have been great here in Utah weather (snow to rain to blistering heat all in one day) had them on almost a year now.

Let me know what you think, Thanks!

Before anyone else says anything, I actually think it's really neat. Looks good man. If I had an explorer I'd be tempted to do the same thing

No need to apologize for it not being a Jeep. I actually like the "inspired by" vehicles.

I think it is a well done tribute to the Jeep theme. Who is to say the none of the Staff Vehicles could have been Explorers?

Now paint the wheels red!

Just my two cents, but I think it would look good with the factory 1996 Exlporer steel wheels painted red.

Welcome to the 17 club. Wow, I'm shocked how many of us are on here. Good idea making an inspired by vehicle. If you don't have a jeep, why not right? I'm surprised that you didnt go with the explorer paint job. Good luck adding stuff. Looks great!

We're both 17! I don't know if there's more teenagers lurking.
