Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build

Went shooting out in the desert this past Sunday. Got a screw stuck near the sidewall. I was "forced" to buy a new BFG All Terrain K/O tire.

Gonna do my taxes, and buy 4 more BFG tires to match.

Forgot to update. Since my last post I got all 5 BFG A/T KO tires. Put the winch on front bumper, installed a PA horn for dinosaur sounds, gotten lightbar back from the powdercoated and added safari/baja lights.
Will get decals soon and spray paint the red to have the car ready for Jurassic Con.

Good meeting you Manny! The Jeep looks great with the red wheels. Can't wait to see it at Jurassic Con!

Rush to finish the Jeep for Jurassic Con!
Painted the center caps, these cannot be powdercoated as they are part metal, part plastic, and the baking process would melt the plastic. Did my best to color match it with a spray can.

My wiper stalks were also bare metal and silver looking so I sprayed them.

The attachment point for my whip antenna got a quick coat of satin red to help blend in to the light bar that was powder-coated

Side mirrors are prepped for paint! Yes, I will remove them off the Jeep to prevent over spray. Both of them will get painted tomorrow, and will spend the rest of the week taking measurements and getting the right angle to lay down the red stripes this weekend.

Enslaved my buddy and we got the red paint on the Jeep in time for Jurassic Con. Now just waiting on my decals from 8bit. I'm going to try to put the hawse fairlead on the front bumper tomorrow.
