X2 recoring the radiator would probably cost more than just swapping out for an aftermarket.

ok so i went for the new radiator it cost about £170 plus new antifreeze for £20,
the bolts where nice & rusty..... it was fun getting them off but on re installing we gave them a good coating of WD40.

However the "universal" radiator was not so universal :?
as mine is a manual i dont need those automatic holes in the bottom that caused confusion, also the bracket for the power steering pump
was missing so we had to cut that off the old one and weld it on the new ha!
while we where fitting it we also noticed the pipe at the bottom of the power steering pump was rubbing the frame on the new rad, so out it comes again to grind it down a bit.
next attempt.... get it all on and the bloody fan cover has no holes on the new radiator.... oh what fun out a gain to drill some holes ha! then the last go wooo all together & working fine so far....

as you can see the old one was a bit shall we say past it ha haa!!! you can even see daylight through it.
But OOOoooooooh look at the new shiny one :D

Better safe than sorry I'd ask for a photo of the bend.

It may be bent to him, it may be nothing to you and once attached to the Jeep the bend may be forced out.
If they're not on the verge of being snapped up by someone else, I'd air on the side of caution

Hmmm tis true! ill see what sort of price he comes back with too, if its crazy then ill find them elsewhere

the bend to me looks as if its on the right hand side step the flat end looks wider? (the one with no rubber)

well he never got back to me on the side steps, so the search continues for them.......

but i have now got me a set of JP plates from our friends at http://www.celebritymachines.com if you have a jeep 12 (or they decide to make other numbers you have to get one) ;)

but the best progress/ find are some wheels £280 ($443 USD) for all 4 & tyres, they will do till i can afford the bfg's

Ive also got my whip ariel in transit should arrive by the end of the week WOOO!
then the scary part of drilling holes :O

oh & the wheel seller threw in a light bar with lights for £20 ($31USD) but its not quite right so i might take it to a fabricator to adjust it we will see or ill sell it to pay for the right one! they wer excited to see it when im done converting. The JP jeeps have allot of love out there :D
