Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
I got the rear fogs wired up today. I'm hoping to get the light bar wired up within the next two weeks. JP 12 will be attending its first car show this coming Saturday (if you don't count Jurassic Con).

Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
What a weekend! Today, I was invited to go off road with some co-workers, and we had a blast. Went through a small puddle of mud, going up a few dirt hills, and we came across, a recently abandoned '94 ford Explorer.
How recent you might ask? Well recent enough for the owner to leave a paycheck inside, and his registration was just renewed last month.
Since its the same generation as the Jurassic Explorers, I have a soft spot for them, so I winched it out of a ditch and attempted to contact the owner to let him know the car was okay.
Left a note as his residence, based off of his insurance card that was in the vehicle.
Here is the video of my failed attempt to go through the mud pit (car died, had to restart it)

Had some off-road fun 2 weeks ago:

Also got a few new parts for the Jeep.
A Hi Lift Jack, and a metal trunk cover that will prevent theft for anything I store in the back.

On your video if you had a locker in the rear you would have made it up on the first try. Also do you have a good lift point to use the hi lift I would not use the OEM bumpers as a lift point... ask me how I know this

Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
Manny, your winch is so pristine, you ought to hit your bumper with some truck bed liner to make it match!

It will wear off in two years or so, but it's like an $8 fix.
The dunes look like a lot of fun, was cleanup pretty easy or are you still finding places that sand managed to hide? Back in the days of PCH dreams I want to take my Jeep to Pismo, but I've been to the sand dunes in Colorado before and I was picking sand out of pockets for WEEKS, which put me off the idea.
