Whats up, Im new here and just made a post in the introductions. I have a 1990 Jeep wrangler 4.2 that I got for a winter car. Thought about converting it to a JP. Im not going to go crazy on it and make it exact, I just want to make it look similar. Anyway Im a design student in detroit and I threw together some images of a "modern" JP jeep. I didnt use any reference to the original JP jeeps so Im expecting a ton of hate lol But I thought it was cool anyway. I based it off the new Mojave edition. So yeah, just throw out your comments and suggestions. I love doing this sort of thing. The sad part is that I doubt I ever have the money to actually build one of my vehicles

Looks cool, I wish the made a windowless hardtop like that or a slantback. I saw a tan on tan on tan sahara the other day. It looked really nice, but I don't want to replace my Tacoma. I'd cool my jets since it would devalue a new one since there would be a limited market. Maybe wait and see what come out of JP4. Maybe they will get a Jeep endorsement again, rather than Mercedes.

I'd go with a more vertical stripe to keep the trikes from charging (from the novel).

Thanks guys! I wont be building this Jeep, Just wanted to have some fun with it. I have a 1990 not a new sahara/mojave. Glad you guys like it tho! I think I might do a modern explorer too...

That's pretty awesome. I don't really care for the new style jeeps but this design does the justice. Good work. Love to see it come to life some day.
