The weather is finally warming up so it's time to hammer down on the Jeep build.
I had all 4 corners of the frame replaced and a new floor pan for the driver side.

The original tailgate was rusted through so I bought one a used one in much better condition.
Got used fenders that weren't rusted through that I'll put on after I paint them.
new shocks to replace the existing (possibly original shocks)

*Update (March 9, 2016)
Just got someone to make a light bar thanks to the CAD file from eagle5740
Just ordered a set of #28 decals from Jack_Fauth

Got an okay amount of work done this weekend, power went out Sunday evening so I took that as a sign to be done for the day.
My light bar should be ready by the end of this week, hope it turns out alright!
Got all the fender flares off finally.
Fenders and grill are primed, hardtop is off and in storage, hood is off and waiting for sanding/painting.
Sanded the pin-striping off.
Ordered my #28 plate from Celebrity Machines.

Thanks, glad i'm not the only one that thinks it looks good! I put a lot of time in sanding, painting, resanding and repainting to get rattle can to look really good!
For the main color i'm using Rustoleum Fossil color. From what I found, the correct Sand Beige is Red 167 Green 161 and Blue 125, Fossil is Red 174 Green 167 and Blue 138.
It's the closest color I could find in a can. I know someone else on here used Rustoleum Camo Sand and that is Red 182 Green 175 and Blue 147 but still looked close to the original sand beige.

For the red I'm using Rustoleum Apple Red, which is what a lot of people on here seem to have used (including JP Motorpool via their YouTube of wheel painting).

As for time, I actually got the fenders and tailgate off a month before but didn't want to post till I knew I would start working on it regularly as I have been. Now I'm very limited by the temperature on which days are warm enough to paint, so I do all my sanding and prep work, then on warmer days leave work early and get a couple coats of paint on. Also, I want to finish asap so I can be considered for one of the last 2 vehicle slots for our local Comic-Con this fall.
I'm going to paint the doors, tailgate, and rims last since they are small enough to be brought inside.

*UPDATE: Decals from Jack_Fauth have been shipped!

Painted the main body!
Painted the tailgate.
Got a couple tires painted.
Bought 3 large easter eggs from target and painted them to be dino/raptor eggs.
Bought a winch plate and 9000 pound winch from Harbor Freight, I was going to buy my amber rear lights there but they were more yellow and not the orange/amber.
Bought the Eagle Eye amber fog lights.

Bought a 10' "WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH" banner
http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Ft-Jurassic- ... SwAYtWKqij
and 4 JP brochures
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jurassic-Park-T ... SwP~tW5xhz .

Will still keep my eyes out for any KC 46 lights or a Ramsey REP 6000 winch for JP accuracy or cheap KC 57 or Ramsey 9.5e for JW accuracy.

I'm REALLY hoping to finish this week and get the top all set up this weekend!
I'm glad I decided to do this and am continually thrilled about my own JP jeep!

As far as being recognized as a Jurassic Park Jeep, I would have to say it's complete.
Have my 9k pound winch coming tomorrow, still waiting on my amber fog lights, should have my front fog lights and light bar by the end of the month.

Planning on taking it to work tomorrow!
