Work in progress.

Post by bustard » April 23rd, 2013, 1:45 pm

Bought this Jeep in the fall and have slowly started doing more work on it. Picked up new wheels to match the ones in JP, which I ended up deciding to plastidip red, which actually turned out really well! I picked up a new hood and ordered new carper, console and steering wheel to make the interior look a bit better. Started sanding it down and hopefully will be ready to get pained in the next few weeks.

After the plastidip. Gonna get new tires but still looks pretty good!

Had the right seats luckily just need some small refurbishing.

Nice, that rear seat looks pretty nice, hope the fronts are too. (other than that one bad seem on the back of the driver, which shouldn't be to hard to fix)

You mentioned paint, but you dipped your rims, you going to match paint to dip, or planning on dipping just the red?

Yeah I’m going to match the red with the dip, seems like it should still look pretty good! Not going to risk plastidipping all of the red.
