New member, new project... but on a different scale.
Re: New member, new project... but on a different scale.
I've found a little more time for the soft top. First the doors where permanently installed and supported. Along with the two hinges I broke off while handling the body. I started with securing the soft top from the front and worked my way back. Only the back two windows left to go.

I found some time to finish the soft top. I can't wait to move on to the finer detail work!

Maybe 3d printed top would look better ? Somehow theres a contrast of detail between bottom and top

I've made just a little more progress. A few features have been finished in black. It really makes it "pop". Other parts have been added. I've started work on setting the ride height, but as I was afraid the shocks that came with it are made for much more lift than I'd like.
If you look closely, you might be able to spot the test JP logo on the former hard top. The glue seems to be bleeding through the image more than I expected. We'll see how it turns out when fully dried.

Basically after about a year of work, I'm done. I've got a rear license plate to mount and the whip antenna.
I even added Nedry.
