the rusty look is the only way to be different now.
Adding photos with tapatalk causes problems. If you open the image in a new tab then it pulls up the photo just fine. Is there a way to change the image size and fix the issue?

Re: It was "In the making" but now "It's made"
installed a new stainless spring for the whip. The chrome ones only last two years. Removed the seats for transport to the upholstery shop and sanded one side worth of fender flares.
Sucks that the inner fenders are rotten. They are falling apart in my hands but sourcing new ones will be a challenge. Ones from a salvage will most likely be just as brittle. maybe mother mopar has some available in her vintage parts warehouse.

i masked off one and then used the same tape for the other three. Took about ten min to complete but maybe i should do another coat now that it has dried. This old nylon is really thirsty and it isnt quite as dark as the dye.
