That Jeep is in great condition! That was a fun progress to watch unfold! I'm hoping to get started soon myself.

Yea that Jeep was deff. garage kept. paint was very nice and so was the interior. They have been using seat covers since 1995, when they bought the jeep, those green seats never saw the sun til i bought it.

I was lucky enough to be the 1st one to see it on Craigslist, it was listed for the Denver, CO area and I'm from Houston, TX. They sold me the jeep for $6,000, with winch, hardtop and everything really. My wife and I booked plane tickets and hotel for a grand total of $240 (80 for plane tickets for 2 and 160 for the room in Colorado spring). Drove the jeep back home, took around 18 hours drive.

You definitely got a solid deal on it! I noticed that even the seats were perfect! The straps are like new. Amazing. That would of been a fun trip home for sure.

That is an excellent build and well documented with some nice photos! Picking it up and driving it home sounds like a fun trip and a good way to get to know your new Jeep.
