Took it to a car show this morning. It got a lot of attention and pictures. I'd say more than the others.

Had my quick Jurassic Park employee outfit. Still need to find some glasses and khaki's.

Texas requires the plate on front and rear of your vehicle. This is my daily driver so not worth the hassle of taking it on/off.

For car shows I cover my real license plate with an all-black license plate blank that I bought on eBay. I glued about 8 magnets around it so that I can just slap it on. Obviously it wouldn't hold while in motion at anything higher than parking lot speeds, but for a car show it's a nice way to cover up the non-Isla-Nublar plate.

For a "real" car show I'll take it off. That one was a really informal no class show. Wasn't so much judging as an old guy picking his 3 favorites.

But that does look nice on your xterra.

And yeah it is my daily driver. When it's just me I either drive this or my motorcycle. When the family's going somewhere we take my wife's car. Every once in awhile I'll put the carseat in the back and take my toddler around, she loves the jeep.

Place I sent the winch too couldn't repair it, but only charged me $30 to wind it back up. I'm sure that would have taken me hours so well worth it.

I called Ramsey's technical support asking for part numbers for replacement decals. After giving the rep the serial number they said they'd ship me out replacement decals for free. So That's pretty sweet.

Also not quite done with this little side project but friend gave me a non-worker worn out Power Wheels jeep. Started stripping and repainting it to match the jeep.

What I first got, replaced the battery and it worked just fine.

Few days, a powerwash, some primer and new paint later...

Still waiting on getting doors, and a spare tire to mount in the back.
