Knightsaber's '92: JP 11
OK, here's how my Jeep is looking at the moment.
I've got a good coat of primer on after completing the body work. Next, I'm going to wet sand the whole thing then retouch any worn spots, and it should be ready for paint.
I have a set of wheels that I've been working on and they're almost ready.
This '92 started as a hard top so I picked up a set of half doors and soft top from craigslist. So basically, once I get the paint on, all I need to do is get the BFG tires and mount 'em and I'll be good to go.
Of course, I'll need a set of decals to finish it up too. Planning on doing #11.

Holy crap. Don't you DARE change a thing about that jeep! Maybe paint the wheels flat black. That gray-green looks freaking AWESOME! lol

I KNOW! It's just rustoleum self etching primer. I was really torn when I got it all on there because it just looks SO cool. Actually, this was my original vision when I got the jeep. And yeah, I was even going to paint the wheels black.

OK, now you've got my brain working. What if I kept it this color, and added the half doors with a black JP silhouette on the side. No stripes, but definitely a number in the normal spot. I could say that this was Rober Muldoon's personal Jeep on the island. The game warden would have something a little more military like, afterall.

Now I'm thinking I'll do the stripes, but in black. Yes, this should be unique.

You'll like my Beetle. I'm going to paint it Self Etching Primer Green. (or a close color to it).Boomerjinks wrote:Holy crap. Don't you DARE change a thing about that jeep! Maybe paint the wheels flat black. That gray-green looks freaking AWESOME! lol
I think it could be cool to do something a little different. If it turns out bad, it won't be too hard to just paint it the Sand Biege color. However if all you have is self etching primer, you will need to put a sealer on it.

I really like the idea of a custom jeep. The black stripe would look pretty mean. Slap an Ingen logo on it and call it done.

Forget the black stripes and JP logo, I'd do that up as an InGen 4x4 from the Lost World. White InGen logos and bars over the doors and lights. VERY cool.
