Great build! I looks great but what ever happened with that light bar defection stuff? I see lights above the windscreen ALL THE TIME here in Vic. Was it actually illegal or was the fuzz just power tripping? By the design reg, it should be legal.

Great job, awesome look, so was this actually totally done by using PLASTI- DIP (I'm assuming all the red colors)? Wheels in Plasti-Dip too?

The distressed look is cool, looks like you do a bit of touring, what type of roof rack is that and how does it fit?
What part of OZ are you in?

all is done with plastidip. the old wheels are but my new ones are painted KRD red

however just a day after i posted disaster struck. i was hosing it down with my pressure washer and it ripped big time. (then i spent half an hour making it worse)

guess thats what 2 years with no shad will do to something that should only last 6 months

thanks. the distressing was to hide where the dip was flaking off.

its a secondhand homemade one boltedto rivnuts in the roll cage, through the top. its a trektop NX so the roof part never would have come off anyway.

when i can afford it im getting a custom sized one made up so i can still flip back the front 1/4 of the safari top

my first thought was that you had done a awesome job making it look distressed. It would bother me as well but it does looks cool. what was your method for the fake rust?
