Just in time for storm season

May be a dumb question, but will the vinyl hold up to the Oklahoma rain we get?

I believe so. The way I appled the base black layer was by ironing it on through a wet hand towel. It sticks very well, and doesn't have small details that are easy to pull off. The rest of the colors are laid on without ironing each one, but they're high performance vehicle vinyl that are designed to stay on cars going 75MPH in the rain, and hold up well. I ironed everything once again after finishing.

I'll do another sample jacket this weekend, and I'll film an instructional video as I do it. The only things you'll need is a wet towel, an iron, something to act as a squeegie, and some soapy water. You'll also need something flat and hard to lay under the back flap, since the vent holes underneath would complicate things. I used the pane of glass from a picture frame. It's really pretty easy, just a little time consuming.

So here's what I'm thinking.

We're planning on a JP Jeep meetup, in the Tulsa area I believe, pretty soon. I would be happy to pick your jackets up then, and apply these for you guys, no charge. I just did the tutorial video, and I was surprised at the complexity of the whole thing.

For the guys that aren't able to make it to the meetup, I can buy the jackets, apply the vinyls, and ship them to you, no charge for installing. It would just be the jacket price, shipping, and the same $15 or $20 for the decals.

I'm just worried you'll all have small errors and sending replacements would cost more than me just doing it for you.

What does everyone think?

I got my jackets (2) ready and gladly pay for the labels... Heck we could even make it part of the meet up... everyone applies their decals on their raincoats as the weekend project... LOL

Cant wait to meet you guys in person...
