I made an account just to see if there were any updates on this. I've been searching for a JP raincoat for ages and would defiantly be willing to pay the 40+ or whatever cost just to get my hands on one of these bad boys.

Do you happen to know who's doing the run? I've been searching on theRPF but I can't seem to find a thread about it!

Hi,

I bought some decals from Keith on eBay for the 2W rain jacket that I bought and I saw earlier on this thread that you made a video on applying the vinyl decals. Maybe it's me but I can't find the video. Do you have a Youtube site that it's on?

Steve

I made these for the east dock vinyl's a few years ago. I don't remember doing videos for the rain jackets though.

OK, thanks.

I'll check them out. Maybe I misread one of the posts.

Thanks,

Sorry to bother anyone on this post, but just wanted to intquire about the jacket stickers.

I just had mine done at the vinyl sticker shop.

i stuck mine onto the jacket but it seems to come off around the edges when bent. Did you guys do anything to have them stay on? like an adhesive of some kind. And is there a special kind of printing paper or some sort to keep it from peeling off or being damaged and still be able to wear it.

I ironed them on through a wet-ish washcloth. Wetter than damp, but not dripping. Keep the iron moving a bit or you can risk melting the sticker or jacket.

I did what DrewSmith007 did, but I still have the same problem. I'm thinking of maybe either using vinyl adhesive or maybe trying applying a very thin layer of rubber cement to both the jacket right under where the sticker edge would land and the sticker edge itself. Let them both dry to a very tacky consistency and then lay the edge down and apply pressure for a time.
