JP Rain Jacket

FINALLY! After getting the correct JP decals, I was able to complete a screen accurate Jurassic Park rain jacket.

Correct Manufacturer, correct model, correct style of decals and (pretty much) correct size and placement.

Adding this to my complete screen-close Alan Grant outfit (including 2 versions of the U-DIG-IT trowel leather pouches), my almost complete Muldoon outfit WITH WWII combat boots.

Now all I have to do is find some money that isn't being siphoned off for other things like a mortgage, etc to buy and rehab a JP Jeep.

WOO HOO!

Found this online a couple of days ago:

http://www.safetygearonline.com/safety- ... t-rainsuit

The cost of the set (jacket and bib overalls) is about $10. If you buy more than 3 sets, then the price drops. I originally paid about $20 for the jacket only. I bought three more sets.

Same basic model and design.

Well, I've been able to test out the new JP rain jacket over the last couple of weeks with all of the rain that we've been having in So Cal. The jackets have performed great for the most part. The only problem is that the decals seem to be lifting at the edges a little (along with a long vertical wrinkle on the back.

So now I've got to find a decent way to repair this and keep it from happening again.

Any suggestions?

That looks really awesome man.

Ive been getting the same issue, i just had my stickers done today. As soon as i put it on, it seems to have issues with being bent and all. Not too sure how they did theirs in the movie. probably printed on or something.

kinda afriad ill have to rip it off and pay for another one finding out that i did it wrong haha

I used waterslide decals to do mine. Worked really well, although it took a few attempts to get the heat/time right. I did a few tests on the pants before I started the jacket.

Kittca,

Here's the guy I bought them from on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jurassic-Park-y ... XQydtTM9Zh

This listing is for 4" decals (the small one I used on the front) but he can pretty much make whatever size you want. I asked him for 8-1/2 " for the back decals. Also, he was willing to make a deal for buying multiple decals so it wouldn't hurt to ask him about buying several.

Thanks for the reply! So four inch logo on the front and 8 and a half inches on the back side of the jacket.
