SOLD OUT: New run of Jeep driver hats

I've seen a number of the jeep driver fan made hats, and I'm none too pleased with any of them. The notable features of the original hat include:

-Two tone (Undistressed khaki body and eyelets/dirt red suede bill and button)
-High profile structured front
-Embroidered logo (approx 2 1/2" tall)
-Brown plastic adjustable strap

Most of the hats I see fail to hit ANY of these marks, and while I can't seem to find a way to reproduce exactly what you see in the movie, I think you'll agree that the hat I'm working on is a big improvement over past offerings. Having the logo embroidered directly on the hat makes for a much more authentic look/feel than sewing the 4" patches on a blank hat.

My hat features:

-Two tone (Undistressed khaki body and eyelets/dark red cotton bill and button)
-Low profile structured front
-Embroidered logo (2" tall)
-Khaki cotton adjustable strap with brass buckle

What can I say? It's not 1992 anymore. Fashions change, and the original hat is out of style. This is probably the closest reproduction you'll find without getting a fully custom made hat from the ground up. I estimate they will cost $15 apiece plus shipping . Who would be interested in such a hat?

Before anyone asks, the Dr. Harding color scheme is not an option.

I can attest that the artwork supplied to the embroidery team was more than sufficient. I fully expected they'd have to simplify some details (mostly the teeth and the trees). I was pleased with the result, but I think I see what you might be talking about. Since the teeth are "floating" in the original logo, they tried to achieve this effect by disconnecting the teeth from the jaw, but they're still connected to each other. You'll find the patches available on Amazon do the same thing, despite being twice the size, thus having more leeway. Ultimately, I feel the 2" embroidery is a more accurate logo than the 4" patch (which isn't even close to accurate on the snout or the trees).

There's only so much detail you can put in a patch. If you can't draw it to scale with a fine tip sharpie marker, they probably won't be able to reproduce it with embroidery.
