I made it, I used a glass container (so it would stand up to the heat on the dashboard) with resin, some wood blocks, and some homemade rubber rings.

Hi newbie here,
AWESOME COLLECTION!
I'm particularly interested in the case from the back of the tour car. Did you make it yourself?
If so I was wondering where you got the case and the name of the torch. Asking this because I'm thinking of building a few props for my collection. :D
And what's the radio name? I know its a Motorola.
Thanks,

Hinzy

Hey Hinzy

I'm putting together that exact prop myself

The case is a 'Pelican 1600' and the torch is a Maxabeam searchlight.

Expect to pay about $150 for the case and foam and upward of $1,000 for the searchlight (spared no expense)

Hey Cyrix,

That's a great collection you've got going there!

I spotted your fence lights on yourprops, is it possible to get more info on them? did you have to build them up?

The lights are made by Federal Signal, Model 191x (191xl is the current LED replacement version)

The older versions were the correct flat gray color. The new(er) versions (still discontinued) are black and need to be painted and have a couple small holes for a light guard that need to be filled.

Thanks for that Cyrix,

Where did you manage to find a set? I've just tried eBay with no luck.
I'm working on a replica of the buzzer at the moment, I think it will be a relatively straight forward job, could I trouble you for a diameter of the light to give me a rough scale for my build?
Cheers
