My guess it it's in the explorer. They had water there already in a cup and it certainly was poured and just sat out on the dashboard.

In my mind there's a big water tank up in the rear red roof box behind the dome...

So I accidentally bought the generic Nalgene bottle with the wrong mouth that has the screw cap. The accurate bottle (labeled ACETONE) just arrived and the screwcap with securing ring from the generic bottle fits it perfectly fine. I'll post pics tomorrow.

The bottle isn't opaque white but the lip is correct. Looks good!

It does look good. Just be careful that they have sent you a NEW bottle and not some stuff they retrieved from a closing lab.

Good call. There's only a faint plasticy smell on the inside so I think it's safe.

I think there are two of those backpacks on ebay right now. One of them shows that there are two patches on the backpack - one on the rear by the main closure and one on the strap.
