Barbasol Cryo-can

Post by Cyrix9445 » November 20th, 2009, 5:11 pm

Here's my replica cryo-can, purchased on eBay, but was originally purchased from the RPF. Good prop to go with the #12 Jeep.

That's a great looking replica!

I've always wondered how difficult it would be to make one, especially since ebay is flooded with those fake barbasol cans that can be used as safes. Not only hollow, they also rarely go over a few bucks.

The center looks like a C02 cartridge used in paintballing and air rifles, but I assume the other parts are purely custom.

I believe a lot of custom machine work goes into creating these, but some parts are likely bought as you say.

Until I can get my hands on the real deal, like you've got. I'm just going to keep a regular can of Barbasol in the Jeep. Just for kicks. :D
