East Dock backboard?

Hi, I'm dne', I've been on here a little bit, just recently bought the East Dock decals from JPgear and they're beautiful, just wondering what kind of backing to use for the decals. I was hoping to leave the sign out on a 4/4 pole, but thinking 3/4 plywood and sand till smooth, then paint, then clear coat? or what else can I use?
thanks,
dne' ;)

Philip Daley over on Facebook would be the perfect person to talk to about that. He's an amazing prop builder for Universal.

Just out of curiosity, what process did you use to cut out the island? Stick the sticker on and run the edges with a router or jigsaw then paint the edges?

I'm not aware of anyone that directly sells them, but you can get the decals instead of painting. You'll still have to buy the lumber, cut, and assemble yourself:
