Finally got around to rounding the corners and weathering my sign. I think it came out pretty good. Still have to drill the holes for it though.

The weathering looks awesome. Did you look up how to do that or was it taught? Good choice on the weathering!

That came out awesome.
How was it rounding the corners?
How did you weather? What technique?

Thanks guys!
I just kinda winged it; I had some minwax gel stain leftover from another project. I just dabbed some on a paper towel and applied a light coat to the entire surface, then wiped (most) of it away quickly, it made it not so bright white. Then just spot dabbed/wiped around the edges etc. The gel stain doesn't dry super fast, so you have opportunity to make changes. I quickly wiped some isopropyl on the right side of that red ring to get a faded look, also used isopropyl to get that wear mark on the black part.
The corners were really easy, I just used a liquor bottle cap and a sharpie to mark the contour on the corners. I then ground them with my bench grinder. I was afraid it might gum up my grinder like soft metals tend to do, but it didn't.
