Rain Jacket - Muddy/Weathered

So, I've been trying to produce a few (maybe 5 or so) rain jackets. I've messed up a couple of them, some worse than others, trying to get the hang of applying the decals. I'm using heat applied t-shirt transfers. They work really well, but you have to get the heat/pressure just right for them to work with the PVC raincoats. I've got 3 perfect jackets so far.

I've decided to weather some of the imperfect ones (most have some blotches, blemishes on the logos). With the "mud" on the jacket, you cant even notice. I might add some more to it. I used a similar method for my 10,000 volts sign, gel-stain, alcohol and a rag. It looks really good when the jacket is wet. I might do one with a coat of glossy polyurethane to give it a wet look all of the time.

Looks nice! Hard to believe it's not actually dirty. Are you using those run-of-the-mill t-shirt iron on things? I thought about trying waterslide decals but I have a full pack of the iron on type I'll try out if they work.

I gotta remember to get some of bigger sizes on my next jacket purchase... they wore everything baggy in the 90s!

Looks great tho, I'm just sorting mine out I'll add it to the rain jacket feed when I'm done it's a slightly different way of doing it....

I think they are the standard kind. The waterslide ones worked well too, but more difficult to apply.
