My JP Explorer

Post by Kris Guilbeaux » February 5th, 2012, 11:38 pm

I know this site is more of the JP jeeps but I feel you all could enjoy this as well.

I joined the site to show what I built. I am big fan of the Ford Explorer SUV and I made my own version of the 1992 Explorer from the first Jurassic Park Movie. Just wanted to share with big JP fans.

Dude, that's damn awesome.

I'm working on a 1:24 diecast 1992 explorer in my spare time.

I have never seen a full conversion that looks so perfect in every way.

Btw, my first post here, so hi all.

=D

Its not 100% accurate I know. Just finding a Grill guard and tail light guards for a 92 Explorer these days are all but impossible. I just got lucky when I did find these. Im also having drivetrain issues again. Its a 5peed 4wd Explorer and the trans is giving me issues again. I am most likly going to install a 5.0 V-8 in to this explorer with and automatic trans, just in case I ever end up in a parade.

You're not kidding. I was riding with my grandpa the other day and we passed an explorer with the right grill and tail-light covers, and I almost made him turn around so I could try to buy them!

Great job, the paint looks really nice.
