Will's #07 Raptor Edition Jeep
Will's #07 Raptor Edition Jeep
Well I purchased my Jeep a few months ago and with the amount of body work needing to be done to the jeep I have decided not to go the normal route with my jeep. Once Spring rolls around I'm going to be doing some massive tub repair. So with this being said I wanted to change it up a bit. So I'm naming my jeep the Raptor Edition. It will have a slight lift, mud tires, and any other features I come up with along the way. Going to look at some rims tomorrow. Here is a picture of the Jeep the day I got it.
The Reason I picked 07 for my number is because it was the year my daughter was born. I can't wait to drive her around in the jeep with the top off.
This build is going to be long... Not a quick one, I don't expect this to be done before Fall of this year, but dang close.
In a Perfect world I would own a 1981 DeLorean, 1959 Caddy Ambulance, and a 1993 Jeep Wrangler... Lets see which one comes first!

Well scratch the rims for a bit, found a good deal on a hard top so I picked that up instead. Will probably do a write up on my repair and restoration of the hardtop. More to come!

Second that with the hard top progress! Good luck
Re: Will's #07 Raptor Edition Jeep
The Hard Top was put on the jeep about a month ago, Didn't get a chance to do any repairs to it just yet. But I've decided that I enjoy the soft top better. When It gets warm enough out to take the top off its coming off and staying off. Still going to restore it, and most likely sell it. Going to do a write up but I have some great news coming tomorrow

SEATS!!!!!
Drove 2 and a half hours to pick these up. A few little defects but nothing I can't fix. Gotta put the rear pouches back on but I'm pretty excited to get rid of the torn up old seats.

Another little update. Went and picked up 4 Correct rims today plus one steelie for $75. They are a bit rough in spots but after a good sand blasting and paint they will do alright.
That should be all the Jeep parts but the soft top and one more rim. I'm getting very excited about this. It's all coming together. So far here's the conversion costs.
1992 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L 4 cyl- Recieved in Trade for 1994 Chevy Z71 Extended Cab Pickup.
1993 Sahara Seats- $300
4 Accurate Rims-$75
Total To Date for Conversion-$375.
Of Course this cost is only parts for the conversion. I've honestly spend $500 or more on engine work and Misc things since I've had the jeep. This is also doing all the labor myself.
Things to Do-
Rust Repair
-Patch Panels are going to run roughly $150
Exterior Paint
-Price to be determined
Interior Tub Liner
-Raptor Liner Kit $122
New Soft Top
-Bestop Replace-a-Top in Spice $470
Tires
- Haven't decided on what size just yet.
I'll post another update. Next up Body Work!

Looking good so far, glad you included a pic of the back seats. You don't see too many of those.
