JP Jeep CJ-7 #18
I was wondering if i would be completely shunned from this website if i did my replica on a CJ instead of a YJ. I'm 16 so i cant exactly shell out the cash for a new jeep and im getting the CJ for free from my dad. It needs some work, but it'll be a good project for me this coming summer.
I'll put up some pictures of the jeep if we do end up getting it out of the shed tomorrow.

Your project, your rules. Saw a JP bug on here once and it looked cool, thats further from a YJ than a CJ is haha
Go ahead, make fun of my JP jeep. Then all of a sudden a T-rex comes out of nowhere!!!!!!!!............The jeep only sets 4, who's laughing now?

i would be interested in seeing what a cj would look like, great idea for a project.
what year is it? what engine? a 304 v8 would be a cool addition to any jp jeep

if i remember right the the CJ7 and YJ use the same tub, you can take a YJ front clip and put it on a CJ.
but the CJ would look good as a JP JEEP

good call, i was going to buy just the housing for the overhead lights and not have them function but then it would bug the sh!t out of me if they weren't right.so id end up buying them again to make it right.
So save the cash and do it right the first time, you'll be way happier and won't have to explain why you used a CJ instead.
Good hunting!
