Modern "Inspired" 37

I own a 1999 TJ that needed some work done to it. While I was figuring out what I wanted to do with it, Jurassic Park came on and I had my answer. Now I know that it's not the same model but I'm not attempting to create a movie replica. I have unfathomable respect for those who could make it work, but I'm just not one of them. So I decided to go with a more "inspired" look. My TJ is already lifted two inches and has the JK 17 inch rims on it. This is my starting TJ.

Good work, I'm going to have to do the same with my YJ as soon as I can get the funds for the panels. I have other more pressing fixes and replacements that need to happen first though.

First, welcome to the boards. I have to admit that I'm curious to see what you've got in mind since an inspired look can sometimes turn out to be really cool.

I've done a bunch more work on the jeep and I'll post up some more pictures once I get home but right now I'm attempting to figure out paint colors.

I think this is going to look great. I can't wait to see the results! I too have a TJ I'm working on converting.
Welcome to the forums!

Nice work there natebrandt. Where are you in Alpharetta? I am off McFarland at Union Hill. I have the shop you need to talk to if you want it painted professionally off 141, if you want to look at mine for measurements I am just down the road. Send me a PM maybe we could meet up sometime.

I was picking out paint colors today and got inspired by Milo's JP27 Jeep.

I think his is going to look great and everyone around me is saying that I should do the black as the base coat and keep the red as the stripes. That way the stock black top and with the bushwakers would go. Any thoughts?
