Put one of those on mine, it works well. Watch that back stud, I ended up snapping mine off when I was torquing it down. That was fun welding on a nut to pull the old stud. Don't do that :).

Did you just spray that with black spray paint or is it something a little more durable?

the mainfold is stainless so i really didn't need to coat it at all but i wanted it black so i hit it with 1600 degree high heat header paint.

Everything went well on the manifold replacement except where the power steering pump bolts to the intake maniflod. When we were taking out the bolts we noticed the one tab that the pump mounts to was completely broken. Now the bearing on the pump screeches at start up since there is only one bolt holding it now instead of two.

Just got a used intake off e-bay and it looks like i will be changing that out this weekend.
It never ends...does it.

last night i worked on the only rust on old #12. Looks like it was in a fender bender a few years back and was not properly repaired. i ground out all the old body work and took it all down to bare metal, then got rid of all the surface rust and metal prepped the area. Then i pounded out the dent and hit it with some bondo and light sanding. it is all straight again and no rust.

here are the before and after shots

this is how i bought it....

and after......

now it just needs finish sanding and primer sealer.
