JP29 Sweden

Post by mickep77 » May 21st, 2016, 5:18 pm

Hi everyone

So this is going to be my JP29 build in Sweden of all places :D

Why a JP29? Well it was Hammonds car in Jurassic Park and it was in the new Jurrassic World. Thats all I need to make it my favorit jeep

This is not going to be a perfect replica but my interpretation on a JP29. A bit more practical and built to meet Swedish legislation that dont allow a lot of the things that make it a perfect replica. I will find a way around some of the problems however.

And excuse my bad english

Here she is just before I bought her. A 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ 4.0 liter straight six high output with manual gearbox. So far it is correct, but then it goes downhill from here :)

Now with correct wheels. It is hard to find things like that in Sweden.
But I managed to find five

The front with it's horrible lights.

The indicators are a Swedish addition because the original indicators are to close together according to Swedish law. But I have a plan

Image

Much better! Must do something about the small headlights. They look stupid

I too love that text on the mirror. Mine only has it on the driver's mirror though - is yours the same? Is it supposed to be on both?
