Hi Everyone,

I decided to make a JP12. This will be a good challenge and I think there is too much car with number 18 and 29 which are most iconic car than the 12, but it will be cool to play with the Jabsco light at night!!!

Pictures of the car I bought: Enjoy:)

That looks REALLY nice, great paint and no visible rust! How many miles/kilometers are on it?

I'm really digging that black and vintage gold paint job. If I ever switch to a non-JP jeep, I might have to go with that combo!

Hi,

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately The car isn't free of rust , normal it's an old lady.
There is rust on rear right frame, an hole on the exhaust manifold.
The A/C is not working right now I think a fuse broken or the Air Conditioner Blower Motor.
I have to replace the speakers in the sound bar and in the dash board.
I have to replace the front lift spring and rear spring .
The color of the seat wash out due to the sun.

After all of this, all is working fine, no liquid leak. I drove the car from the shop to my home during 5hours and half without any failure (only the driver was totally tired^^)

To answer to Marscreature, kilometers is 135315.

I think you did well. Not to many to choose from over there and i have seen guys start with a lot worse here in the states. Is that frame rusted on both sides? If its just that one side then it wont be to bad to cut out.

The car dealer made the repair with metal but they don't replace the complete frame only the piece with rust.
Anyway I will do a good reparation with metal parts in another garage when they will do the paint job because it's out of my skill.

See the "repair" on the frame
