Thanks Nick727

Just had new shocks put on along with an oil change, transmission fluid change, and differential fluid change.
Also painted the mirrors red since it was in a warm garage, and hung my 028 tag up with a black rubber twist-tie.

Bringing it out tonight and I got permission to park on the grassy curb in front of my favorite brewery! Showed the main bartender a picture and he said he was really looking forward to seeing it.

Thought I should post an update,
-joined JPMP :D and found other JP vehicles in my state
-Ramsey Hawse Fairlead, CB radio, new wiper blades all installed
-Audio tour CD and Jeep playlist of JP sountracks finally burned to CD
-Rear lights getting installed today or tomorrow, found some clear KC 46 lights and used an amber lens repair film over the lens,
I plan on tying them to the brake lights for now but eventually want them on a switch :?: any thoughts/comments/prior experience on using them with brake lights? :?: I wouldn't think being "too bright" would be an issue for brake lights
-found a lightbar on craigslist and getting that put on either tomorrow or next week (eventually might get a screen accurate one made)

Wow, first time I've seen your build. I can't believe how nice your rattle can paint job came out! Did you use a clearcoat over the paint?

Thanks!
The key to a good rattle can paint job I've found is a lot of prep work. Also, what better name than "Fossil" for the paint color on a JP jeep!
I was going to do a clear matte but when I tried a sample area it kept wrinkling and looked bad and I didn't want to risk having to respray the whole thing.
I also left the interior side of the windshield dark green because I think it looks/matches better with the rest of the interior

I actually had to sand down and respray a couple little spots due to rust creeping back through, surprisingly I could barely tell where the new paint was after it dried.

Need to post an update for my own reference.
The rim/wheel was sandblasted and powder coated with the color RAL 3020 and the middle 1.5" plastic piece is Rustoleum Apple Red.
RAL 3020 looked like a very very close match to both the Ford Performance Red and Chrystler Radient Fire Red.
The screen accurate Radial All Terrain is a 30/9.5/15 tire with good tread left but due to it's age I will probably swap it for a newer tire when I travel more than 150 miles away.
