Those 4 cyls are good motors, they pull the jeeps around just fine.

Just ordered a light bar with the four light mounts, I know its not the original but as far as the general public goes nobody will know ;)
Here's address to it, just in case anyone was curious

I've also got a set of half doors lined up a few hours south of here, so hopefully tomorrow I will be running down there to pick them up.
I had been looking at them for a while, but now he's pressuring me with another buyer so I've gotta move! haha

All in all the Jeep is progressing. Slowly but its progressing

Just so everyone knows, the picture showed on this webpage is different of what you actually get, and it is not the right one at all... I'm a little frustrated with the company, but oh well.. I'll probably hang on to it for now and get a different, more accurate one in the futres

thanks for the heads up, i was looking at that same model for the light bar as it looked the closest to the real one and I could have modified it enough to get the look....but if it turns out that its no where near what it looks like in the picture thank you very much for saving me the money from ordering that same bar. thanks kbb0635!

Just pick up some half doors! Man those things are hard to find.. At least in my area I know they are... It was about a two hour drive to go and get them and they seem in pretty decent shape. I got them for a pretty decent price so I'm happy. The next step now i guess is to get to the auto store and get ready to paint!

I'm not sure why one door appears a different shade than the other... because they definitely are the same

THE TIME TO PAINT IS NEARLY HERE!

Over the weekend I was able to pretty much completely strip down the jeep, do some repairs and "Rhino line" the interior.

After folding down the windshield as you can see some pretty crazy wires to the wipers were revealed. Keep in mind they weren't all pulled apart like this, and I hadn't done any stripping in this photo yet. So its a wonder the wipers were even working at all

And as you can see there is some rust building up on the 3rd door. It seems to have gotten progressively worse over the winter. As to what I'm going to do about it.. I'm not sure yet.

The time has finally come! Last weekend I finally finished striping the whole jeep down, priming and painting! There's a few things I would have changed but overall I feel the jeep turned out rather well

All Taped up and ready to go:

After Clearcoat:

I'm pretty happy with it, I'm sure if I had bit the bullet and paid a professional it would be that much better. And it is a little more gold and shinny than on the screen.. But my supplier said this was LJ1 and the price that it costs agrees :/
I still have to apply the decals and finish putting everything back together. I am hoping to have it finished by the end of the week!
