Jurassic Park Jeep 10

Post by rajks » August 29th, 2010, 2:53 am

Good news everyone. I was lucky enough to come across one of my fiancee's friends who is looking to sell his Jeep Wrangler. I spoke with him and hammered out some negotiations, and he is willing to sell me a 1993-94 Jeep Wrangler for $800. It has almost 190,000 miles, and a small amount of rust patches to the body. Nothing that can't be fixed by Bond-O and elbow grease. Lol. I plan to post some pics really soon once I acquire the Jeep. Cheers, to all, and I look forward to your help. :)

$800? There might be more work needed then some bondo work. Good luck though!

Ronnyboy you were right. It's gonna be one hell of a project. The frame is in fairly decent shape. Gonna repair that first, the work on the engine and transmission. I am buying all new fiberglass parts (body tub, fenders, hood, grill, etc.) That way I can Herculiner the interior and undercarriage and make this thing run like new. As stated, one hell of a project.

From the sound of it, you coulda gotten a decent Sahara for less then what you're gonna put into it.

Yeah, I would save up for all the stuff your going to get, but in the mean time look for a different project. fiberglass tubs arent all that perfect anyway. but either way, your about to have tons of fun, so good luck.
Go ahead, make fun of my JP jeep. Then all of a sudden a T-rex comes out of nowhere!!!!!!!!............The jeep only sets 4, who's laughing now?

Quick update all. Gonna be pulling off the body tub and sandblasting the frame sometime soon. Also gonna do a lot of welding and painting it to prevent rust and whatnot. :)
