I don't see why you couldn't cut/sleeve and re-weld it. If you were closer I'd offer to weld it for you.

Exactly what I was thinking. The YJ top wouldent need nearly as much room to remove the top. Even if it didnt come apart like the Mopar one cutting and welding it would be no big deal.

MN-cherokee wrote:That looks just like the Mopar one. Which was probably made by Olympic for Jeep.

It looks a little tall, but it looks like it comes apart and could probably be shortened.

The picture on the page shows it on a TJ. Its possible the design is slightly shorter for a YJ. Either way it looks lke it might be a good substitute and I may be ordering one. Price is not bad at all.

That light bar hasn't been made in years. It does not look like that anymore.. here is what it looks like:

Looks like its back to building one for me. Unless I find one it should not be that hard. Just get a piece of tube bent and weld on some flat plate for the mounts.

Guy sent me two for the side, and 2 smaller ones as a free gift. Im sure I'll put them somewhere. I got orange to see what it looked like cause some people say the JP jeeps have tan. I think orange looks closer.

Havent had time to post in a while. Have been having crank sensor issues but managed to get some stuff done. Got a borla muffler and a magnaflow hi flow cat, found the wheels I need, got my whip installed, and installed HID headlights (spared no expense) also managed to pick up a small amount of the paint I will be using so I could decide if Im going flat or glossy. Still haven't decided. Check out the storm coming my way, first time time in the rain with the wrangler!!!
