It's here! JP19's front plate came in the mail. I ordered 2none to customize to silver and blue and one to keep orginal. I've got to meet with a few people to talk about options for the front plate conversion but in the mean time I'm going to mount the orginal one for fun Imthink. The only bad thing is that it will cover up the poison spyder logo in the front bumper but that's a small, price to pay for some Jurassic Park love.

I couldn't resist installing the movie accurate plate to see how it would look and I love it. What do you guys think?

Boost 1995, the colour scheme looks great, the blue lights chassis look great too. Was it difficult to get the door decals in Blue???

The plate looks good in the original colours. I guess where you're situated you don't have to run a proper front plate from the DMV?

Thanks everyone!
Leethallee it wasn't peticulary hard to have it made. I just sat down with the designer and showed him what I wanted then we worked out the design. The blue in the JP logo is actually a blue chrome material.

Philosoraptor thanks! In GA we aren't required to run a front plate so we can use the spot for whatever we want. I just measured and drilled and tapped the holes for the plate. Then I used a high grade enamel and painted the hole and threads the best I could to help prevent rust in the future.

It's time for another JP19 update. So, I needed to control a few upcoming accessories on JP19 and didn't want to drill the dash or have an assortment of random switches everywhere. After quite abit of research I decided to invest in a spod. It's a 6 40amp relay switch cluster mounted in the enigine bay with 6 rockers mounted in the cab. When I decided on the spod I contacted a few companies to have a set of custom rockers made for the control unit. It took some time but we finally got everything figured out with the custom rockers. Once that was handled I installed the spod and ta-da a wonderful addition to JP19. Here are a few pics.

Thanks everyone! It's definitely been a very productive year for JP19! I have one more upgrade that I'm waiting to come in to install and that will be the last of the mods for 19 this year.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

This is turning into a really nice JKU, and unlike our YJs you won't want to end your life after a highway road trip. Any plans to take it on trails? Can't let those nice tires, lift and winch go to waste.
