It should be done tomorrow!
And I must say the Sand Beige Metallic is surprisingly pretty in person.

Re: Texas JP 29 Build
Looking good, love the hardtop idea, just sold my old TJ to a fella In the Dallas area, also 29 but it's a K-9 unit like my 27, hope you all meet up someday!
Re: Texas JP 29 Build
Few minor tweaks and I'll be done with it.
Needs the lightbar (being made)
Doorhandles need to be black, guy painted them body color by mistake
Headlight Bezels need to be body color (they're still black)
Need the BF Goodrich A/T Tires
And a winch.
Glad I went the hardtop being the body color with the strip instead of just tan like a soft top. But weather permitting it'll be off most of the time anyway.
I'll put on the new rear bumpers and vanity plates on tomorrow.

the top looks awesome man!
Re: Texas JP 29 Build
Found a broke Ramsey 8000 for cheap. Shouldn't bee too hard to take it apart sand it, repaint, replace the decals. Though rewinding the thing will probably be a pain in the ass.
Don't really care if it works or not, if it did I probably would never use it. May see if I can find a local place that can wind it or fix it and if it doesn't cost to much I'll do that. If not it'll just be there to look pretty.

Re: Texas JP 29 Build
Does the motor have post sticking out of it? You can eliminate everything and plug the motor right to a battery. The motor will run different ways depending on the way you hook it up to the battery posts. That would sure make spooling it up easy.

Looks nice with the hard top stripe.
Post up where you find the Ramsey winch decals. I'm looking to refurb a winch soon too.
