Re: Re-inventing my Complete JP Jeep
Hi Rob, I received carpet samples for a variety of shades of dark green that ACC makes. I'm going to go with 7980 Dark Green, as it looks to be the closest to the factory Dark Green color so far as I can tell. I'll try to get a decent pic of it to post. Will probably order my carpet kit in December.

Re: Re-inventing my Complete JP Jeep
Jack Fauth has done it again! I have nothing but praise for Jack and his superb craftsmanship, attention to detail, and customer service. I know that previous customers have said the same thing, but if you live in the mid-Atlantic region it is well worth your time to talk to Jack before starting a JP jeep project. Here is a list of improvements that Jack made to my JP18 in one month:
- Welded and fixed cracked floor under seat mounts
- Fixed dents on rear quarter panel and hood
- Mounted REP-8000
- Straightened side steps
- Refinished Wheels in Ford Performance Red and installed brake dust covers
- Installed Factory-style fender flares
- Removed all red Plastidip (MAJOR PAIN!!)
- Primed, sanded, and painted Base Coat (Low Gloss Sand Beige) with Ford Performance Red
- Refinished OEM soft top frame
- Refinished all black components, include inner wheel wells, gas tank shield etc so it all matches
- Refinished CB ball mount base to correct gray/khaki
- Shortened 3-piece light bar by 1.5" to make it the correct height and removed tabs to make it more screen accurate.
- Correct decals throughout
- Numerous additional little details…really great work….I can't even think of everything right now…
Thanks again, Jack!!

Re: Re-inventing my Complete JP Jeep
Hey Rob,
I bought a green carpet kit a couple of months ago, but wasn't happy with the fit or color and the vendor took it back. I may be receiving an ACC Dark Green (7980) carpet kit from 1A Auto for Christmas though
Will show some interior shots once I have the new carpet in.
