2000 Cherokee JP-18
2000 Cherokee JP-18
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and decided it was time to do something fun.
I know there were no XJs in Jurassic park, but I like to think these were there just
Never made it on the screen.
I did all the work myself less the decals. I did my best, and I learned a lot along the way.
I have full pictures of the conversion and will work on a more detailed build story.
Still got more work ahead of me, minor lift, cargo carrier and custom bumpers, Lots of planned extra details as well.

Looks good!!! Theres a couple things I would tweak, but its your car!
Why is the Cherokee script on one side and not the other?

Thanks
It is on both sides just I took the pictures with my phone and it must not be picking up the detail. For now I didn't highlight that text in red, debating it at the moment.
Always open to suggestions, by all means let me know.

omg love you and envy you so much right now, I had a XJ up until it was totaled in june I was planning on doing to JP conversion with. So awesome to see one done! (i will say you should paint your mirrors red too) I bought a TJ to replace the cherokee but I have to say Super great job on it!
Re: 2000 Cherokee JP-18
Thanks, I love XJS as well. Painting the mirrors red was another debate and after seeing the near completed project I would agree at some point I need to paint them.

Have you thought about an INGEN logo or something on the 1/4 or tailgate to add something to that area?

That turned out great. I was thinking about doing that paint job on mine but went for the explorer style instead. Very well done.

Thanks, the mirrors are on the next phase of the project plan now for sure. I have some extras planned, license plates, a custom bumper to have the tire mount on the back, inside get a container put the igen logo on it and use it for my tools and such. I already got the rear view mirror tag in the jeep. Eventually a custom front bumper with a winch. I am sure more things will add on as I keep working on it.
