Driving around in the countryside...
Yesterday we made a local meeting of Bandeirante (brazilian Land Cruiser) owners.

We made an off-road experience destined to the inclusion of disabled people in the 4WD world. We gathered 30 jeeps for that, we spent a great time with them!

That is so cool. Nicely done. When I was a kid my mom drove a '71 Landcruiser. She painted it grey and mounted a powder horn on the end of the hood so it looked like a rhino. Then she wrote "Baby Rhino" on the sides of the hood. Your LC and those others bring back great memories, especially about the kick-plate vents in the floor. You should be very proud of what you made, it looks great.
Thank you for reading my auto-signature, the last place on the internet not covered in a ton of advertising.

Fifthrider, its interesting how this model usualy brings a lot of memories for many people. I love to see the FJs conserved and driving around. About 60% of the ones built in Brazil are still in good condition and working.

I've had a paleontology excavation and made it with the FJ. Here are some pictures of it there.

Here in Brasília we have only two seasons: wet summer (from september to may) and dry summer (from may to september).
When the Dry season comes, we have months with almost no rain. So, the hard top goes off!

I've made a one-day trip to a city 400 quilometers far from where I live, it took me about 5 hours to go and the same to get back home. I was completely alone, driving without top in a sunny day. I came back in the night, with a deep black sky full of stars over me - it's impressive how the night sky becames wider in a convertible. It was magical.

Re: Land Cruiser #26 (COMPLETED) - On the road
Can you believe someone asked me if I could rent the car for a few hours for a kid safari birthday party? At first I thought it is not a good ideia, but then... what the hell? It was a lot of fun after all!

That's how a Brachiosaurus would see it.
Later, again with the hardtop. Working in the field... we always get a chance for a good picture.
