Jurassic Park Jeep #12
Re: Jurassic Park Jeep #12
lookgs good so far, post pics of herculiner
I wish people would stop turning random cars into JP "jeeps". Come on, its a jeep for a reason.

AJ,
You shouldn't need to remove your shackles to get the front bumper off. I used a torx and a breaker bar, it was a tight fit but it can be done.

I would need a 3/8" breaker bar for it to work I think. I have a 3/8" drive Torx 55, so I need to use an adapter to allow it to use my 1/2" breaker. Unfortunately there just isn't enough room. I could probably use my 3/8" rachet and just put a cheater bar on it.d2b4ker1 wrote:AJ,

I just got back from Napa. Spent $250 on new brakes all around. Ofcourse I got the good stuff, painted hats and surfaces. I'm such a compulsive shopper.
Too bad its too cold, windy and about to rain. I have so much to do.
Time to clean out the garage.

Re: Jurassic Park Jeep #12
The rain subsided until about 6PM. I wish I had just gone outside and started to work. I could have in the very least put the drums on the rear axles. Oh well.
Here is the current to do list, with parts stacking up:
-Install Steering Stabalizer
-Install Sway Bar Bracket
-Install Bump Stops
-Install Shocks
-Install Pads / Rotors
-Install Rear Drums
-Install new TC Output Seal
-Change Oil in TC and Transmission
-Repair Rear Frame Rust
-Remove / repaint Front Bumper
-Install Bumper Guards
-Install Foglights on stock brackets (clean / paint brackets).
-Install Rear Foglights and wire in switch.
I should have front fenders, half doors and (now) a windshield frame on the way. I might pick up some paint to start laying down as a protectant. It really needs to stop raining for me to get some of these things done.

Got my Fog light covers from Quadratec. You will find I am having the same issue as I did with 4WheelDrive.com.
Except this is a little different:

Re: Jurassic Park Jeep #12
I've gotten several 2F1 "deals" like that from Quadratec. One was for a side mirror, and the second was for the soft top hardware.

So the idea is to order a bunch of stuff. And keep returning it until they screw up?Boomerjinks wrote:I've gotten several 2F1 "deals" like that from Quadratec. One was for a side mirror, and the second was for the soft top hardware.
Then you get free stuff? DEAL.
Do you run factory soft top hardware? or Bestop stuff?
