What type of carpet did you use? looks OEM by the looks of it. Great build!

Awesome looking build! Love the attention to detail down to the lug nut color. I think painting them would be cool and more accurate to the movie, but probably not practical.
I'll probably wind up painting them and see how long they last. One of my friends that does frame-up rebuilds said I needed to keep a torque wrench in the Jeep and tighten all the lug nuts every 100 miles and before any long trips, so I doubt the paint would last beyond the first few tightenings. It should help my wheel locks be a little less conspicuous, though.

Thank you! I used ACC Dark Green. Rock Auto has it for a lot less than the ACC website.

All the brake lines have been replaced and the disk brake kit is now installed. Picked up the winch on Friday and finished installing it today. Swapped out the winch plate with a different one to fix some alignment issues and all is good. I'm super-pleased with the special "JP" edition Ramsey REP6000. Hopefully the searchlights will be completed soon and I can get those mounted.

While I've been waiting on the top searchlights to be painted Troyus reached out to me with some screen accurate front and rear fog lights. I also got in on an autograph signing with Wayne Knight so now I need to remove my sun visor to send in along with my Cryocan. There's still a few minor paint touch-ups to do (yes, Dwight, including the door hinges  ) then I can call this project done!

Those back foglights... 'love it...

It always remembering me the T-Rex run and this one is one of the most distinguished characteristic facts of a JP's Jeep :) (in my opinion).

Amazing build! Great work and the end result is stunning. Did you have the original Rio grande seats reupholstered to the Sahara green or did you replace them? TIA

Thanks! I was going to have the seats reupholstered but stumbled across a complete set of Sahara seats in great condition.

Both people that were going to spray the lights for me suffered some major life-altering events so I finally decided to buy a spray gun and do them myself. Sprayed the shells and light ring clips in Sand Beige and took the opportunity to do some minor touchups to the hood stamp. I had already added the red ring to the light bases a while back. Still need to mix up some more red to touch up the light bar and one of the light rings that got a bit boogered up during installation and finally get the upper door hinges to the correct color.

Up next is to drill through the tub and start wiring in to the controllers. I'll probably wind up replacing the fake cables running from the light housing to the base with some better ones (and hopefully keep them from looping around on themselves, too).

I'm finally able to get back to work. Managed to go and get Covid and it really knocked me flat. I got the driver's seat mounted and poked the floor mats in. I really love how the powder-coated seat risers turned out.

I painted the door panels and installed the pouches. The center console didn't turn out how I wanted so there will be a bit more work on that before it goes back in.

Finally figured out what was up with the searchlight controls - one of the joysticks was bad. Got a new one ordered and wired it all up. Still need to come up with a blank plate for the dash (I used the plate off the one with the failed joystick temporarily) and will make the final electrical connections once the searchlights are mounted to the light bar.

What a change to the interior! I'm amazed at how well it turned out.

I finally painted the mirror arms back to black and replaced the front left brake lines. The other brake lines will be replaced at a more convenient time.

With it mobile again, I took it out to gas up and give it a good washing. It turned quite a few heads! I can't wait to get the searchlights back from painting and get the winch in.

Where did you get the green floor mats from?
