Well, I got something done anyway; it was hoping a little too much to get everything painted. The paint shop said I was going to love spraying this, but I'd rather shoot a two stage paint any day. However, I'm amazed how quickly it dries. The last time I sprayed single stage was back in 2009 when I sprayed my '67 Mustang;) However I find it a pecuilar paint similar to flipflop, changes colors, messes with me thinking I missed places when in fact I did not.

Day two of paint, the doors will be tomorrow;)

The hood is pretty good, a couple little lows that I missed, but overall I'm happy with the turn out.

I moved the fender flares and all I could get out of the painting area as I need the fender stands that these were on.

I do want this jeep to at least look like it came in this color by painting all necessary parts. I blasted the battery tray in the cabinet to make it look new;)

Day 3 paint stuff; a painted the doors and unhappy with the way they turned out, easy enough to paint, but that's it until next week. I should be able to put the tub back on the frame sometime next week;) That'd be nice to open up some more room in my garage! ;)

This is coming along great! So clean!

I used to live in Cypress - graduated from Cy Falls HS before moving back to Oklahoma. Lots of good memories of that area.

The dash was quite tattered from sun, fade, a thorough wash and the hit with a couple coats of SEM Graphite and the dash was brought back to its factory color.

A while back I had purchased a set of 5 stock wheels, I had them sandblasted by a local blaster which also blasted the tub, frame and many body parts. one wheel is not in the picture

A spray of Epoxy primer

Yes, the number is JP18, just like the number due to it being the most notable and my kids and grandkids like it;)
