Awesome job on the winch, turned out great!! Keep stocking up on those parts and stay patient! Everyone's timeline is different, excited to continue watching your build through the forum!

Great restoration of the winch! How did you spool (?) the cable around the drum without power? These cables are a pain in the ass to keep together :)

Thank you! I took the difficult route and spooled the drum by hand. Currently it’s wrapped up with the tape until I can run some voltage in her to really tighten down the wire. But it works fine for now lol.

The new addition to the growing collection! Because no matter who you are, you can always use a searchlight capable of producing 12,000,000 CandlePower worth of output!!

While I’m still saving up to get a Jeep, I have the goal of making all props that I can to add to the vehicle. Even though we only see them in the explorers, I feel like you could have found this kit in the jeeps as well.

I found a black pelican 1600 case, re-foamed it, painted it, and then filled it with 2/3 accurate items. Flares on top are painted with the ones beneath still original. I know it’s not 100% accurate, but again who wouldn’t want to have these items in their vehicles anyway? Haha.
