JP29 - West Palm Beach, FL

Better late than never to post my build on the Forum right?

So after 3 years of researching and stalking everyone's build here on the forum i finally found a good base to do my conversion. I located a 93 Sahara with the correct trim with only 105k miles. I was lucky that the previous owner never took the hard top off so the interior was still in amazing shape! After bringing it home, replacing the tires with the BFGoodrich All Terrains i started to acquire the correct parts. I sold the hard top to purchase the soft top and frame, purchased the light bar from Jameisons, acquired half doors and the correct Sahara door panels, got the rims off of Facebook, bought the accurate front fogs and then i luckily found the REP 6000 winch on craigslist! I then restored the door panels and center console with the correct Sherwin Williams paint, then stripped the jeep and started to sand it. My father and i trailered the jeep up to Jacksonville to have the jeep painted by Ocean Spray Paint and Graphics, same painter who painted fellow Motor Pool member Dwight's jeep. Thanks to Dwight for all of the help during the painting process, it was much easier having him there since he had painted his not that long before. After the jeep was painted we brought it back home and i pieced it all back together. It looks absolutely amazing and I'm beyond happy with how everything turned out. I could not have gotten all of this done without the support from my wife and family, but also good friends like Dwight, Vic, and Troy! I love taking it to car shows and events and seeing everyone's faces, always reminds me of why i did this! **Still on the hunt for the Screen Accurate Rear Fogs**

Thank you! No i didn't have any issues with the painting process. My suggestion would be to sand/scuff everything very very good!! If you see anything that you don't like make sure to address it because once the paint is on, its on!

Nice, I Found some KC Hilities, so i'm set but hopefully someone else will pick them up from you.

Would you mind sharing a picture of your entire Dash.... I picked mine up, and am just looking at similarities and differences.

Wicked clean build! Those KO2's are way more aggressive than the original KO's, but they look real good!
