Decided to go with real bags. My mother just sent me these pics. I decided not to go to scale with them so my daughter can actually put stuff in them.

Re: Another Power Wheels Build
A little update with the lighting. I bought a 100 pack of white 5mm LEDs that I planned on mounting to a perfboard cut to the shape of the light and putting it being the lens. I don't know if it's those specific LEDs I used or what, but there were way too many hotspots behind the lens so I wasn't too happy with how they turned out. Also, the white color is too... modern? It's got that hint of blue and just doesn't make sense for a YJ while trying to emulate the halogen headlights and fog lights. So I'm looking for some "warm white" SMD LEDs. I'm expecting them to sit further away from the lens and disperse the light a little better.. But we'll see.
Also need to find a place to print the mini door logos.

Re: Another Power Wheels Build
Got the roll bars back and took a few pics. I painted the tub on Superbowl Sunday because it finally got up over 40 so I was able to do it in the garage with a propane heater nearby. I still need to spray some more on it, specifically to define the body color and interior color. I decided to go with the spice interior to match my 95 Sahara's.
In the driver's fog I still had the LED array I wired up. The beam pattern on those LEDs were far too focused and the color was wrong. I got a roll of SMD LEDs that I started cutting up. I 'm waiting on some 20 gauge wire to solder to the cut pieces.

Re: Another Power Wheels Build
Thanks!
Here's a pic I made to stick on the passenger side mirror. I couldn't find a good clear shot of the mirror from the movie so I recreated it as best as I could (for now). I kind of wish I could find a more head on rex. Also, couldn't figure out the font for the mirror for the life of me so I quickly eyeballed it with "Arial TUR".

Re: Another Power Wheels Build
Well her birthday was on Wednesday, but I'm not going to give it to her until her actual party on Saturday (not that she's really even capable of driving it yet anyways). But anyways, just finished up the wiring for the lights tonight. All that's left is to mount the spare tire, license plates, and put in the seat. Also need to finish editing, printing, and applying the decals. I'm using avery shipping labels so hopefully they work out well.
It's crazy how many screws I lost. Need to stop at Lowes on the way home for replacements. Also somehow lost a fog light cover... but I have a feeling it's somewhere in my messy basement... might clean that up tomorrow now that this car is 95% done, and there's not much I can do on my own Jeep in the rain.

Re: Another Power Wheels Build
Finally finished! The decals went a little more smoothly than I had been dreading... The decal sheet I printed was designed by me to fit all the parts, but printing them out to the correct size was a major PITA. Sorry I didn't resize these files. They're big so make sure you click on the third one at least to see the t-rex in the mirror! Anyways, all in all it was a fun project but I'm glad it's over. Time to get my own painted.
