It's been a week and he's been leaving us hanging with this dimmer! I checked eBay quickly and couldn't find anything similar.

It keeps me from having to hook the clevis onto the tie bars and cleans up the look of the winch. Most importantly it keeps the clevis from scratching up parts of the winch or jeep and also stops any vibration and noise. You can also see the spacer plates a little better in these pictures as well.
hello, can you put a photo of the two cables connecting the winch (red and black) on the battery thank you

Might be a tad late on this but here's the link for the dimmer:

The knobs are different colors but the specifications and box enclosure are the same design. Only bad thing here is the shipping arrival estimates, yikes. But hey, it's cheap and it gets the job done.

Thanks! I guess it helps when you know the correct words to search!

I found this. Looks to be the same thing, a few $$ cheaper, and ships from the USA.

Just a few questions though. I see 4 terminals, how is it wired up? On a different unit I see power+, power-, motor+, motor-. Would we have to run 2 wires to the lights and have them not ground to the body?

Great job on the dimmer switch idea. Do your rear yellows also operate as turn signals or just on with the parking lights? I wanted to use my rears as turn signals but didn't want to blind people.

I am sorry about not responding to anyone's posts. Since my grandfather passed away earlier this year I have been so busy with the sawmill, the farms, and probate I have not had any free time. I have had several people send me questions about the fog light set up and I am trying to get some other pictures and descriptions put together to help everyone out. Again please make sure you check your local laws to make sure that this is even legal in your country or state.

I completed my Jeep at the end of May 2015. I should have my iPad fixed where I can post pictures on the forum. I made a Facebook page for my Jeep if you all would like to see it. I will also post about events and locations that the Jeep will be at on there. Thanks again to everyone on this site. All of you have been an emense help.
