It is bent out of shape and I believe it is from the shipping company, since looking at the auction pictures there is no sign of it. But it is minor enough I am going to try to use hot water to mold it back into shape.

Before I even removed it from the paper I pulled up the decals thread to ensure it was accurate(ish) trimmed off a little from the 4 and the 2 and only took a few seconds, and thanks to the rain yesterday it got a little bit more screen authenticity thanks to the mud splatter, if only it wouldn't get washed off.

the bumper end "horns" are $15 for a brand new pair. if yours are torn like mine were, just replace them... its one of the cheap bits.

Crown makes the bumper and corners for something like $85. I replaced my chrome one almost immediately after buying the Jeep.

Door decals arrived today, and I also got the seals to replace my ragged ones on my full doors getting ready to order the paint as well as get a light bar fabbed. My Jeep is slowly coming together.

Super ninja update, spent this week in glorious battle with the fender flares. But they are now removed and I am going to start sanding in the evenings when it is nice and cool and my mortal enemy The Sun is not up. in a couple of weeks I should be at the painting stage. My Jeep is slowly making the transition to being JPed.

Great work so far. I'm hoping to start my project soon. I was curious about the paint a) how much will it cost, b) are you considering removing any engine compartment pieces/the engine to obtain a better spray on the inside? What sanding technique (pads, time on area, etc) are you considering?
