Re: Phoenix JP42
Mine is red with spice padding. My choice to get it done in red stems from not having the spice padding originally. It just looked too plain, and...(I know that many disagree with me) red looks better.

Yeah I am thinking I might have to go with the red, the more I visualize it the better it looks. Might not be canon, but as the padding ages I would be able to just pull it off and have the red bars still looking like they belong compared to just being there.

Re: Phoenix JP42
Received an E-mail from the fabricator I hired to make my lightbar, I just have to go in for the final fitting, while I am there I might just talk about setting up a paint booth in there since they are a multifunction shop. The never-ending sanding continues but the exterior is almost complete, I just have to pull of the fenders and hood to give the inside a good washing and sanding and pull off the tailights and license plate holder for those areas. After that I can start working on the interior.

And I picked up my light bar yesterday, just have to prep and paint it. Although I must say I just love the sound it makes as I drive down the highway.

Show us a pic! Did you have it fab'd locally? If so, price?Target1992 wrote:And I picked up my light bar yesterday, just have to prep and paint it. Although I must say I just love the sound it makes as I drive down the highway.

Yes and it was 260 for parts and labor, however I can check with them to see if they will be willing to fab and ship, they have all the measurements saved and will even be making a YJ style bar for one of the TJs here, keeping the bar and bracket the same but adjusting the holes. And as for the pics I have been meaning to do that. I will try to get a picture up tomorrow.

Been awhile but here she is, with her red light bar and mirrors. Her progress will continue to be done but unfortunately I am not going to be overseeing her progression, Uncle Sam wants me to take another trip overseas.
