Reintroducing So Cal Jeep 10

Post by JPPH10 » May 14th, 2013, 2:41 pm

Hi Guys,

I am sure you have already seen this number 10 on the boards, but few months ago a member of this board was selling this Jeep 10 and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. :D

I have made a few changes with the jeep since it has traded owners and hope you guys like it!

So far i have added/done the following -
-Knaack Model 28 tool boxes
-New Tires
-Spare Tire - BF All Terrain Radial (doesn't hold air though :( )
-Antenna ball mount
-Spice "Joop to Jeep" stickers and 4.0 sticker on the rear
-added softop hardware on rear tubs, and windshield pieces
-replaced windshield to cowl rubber seal.
-new oil pan gasket and rear main seal (that was a messy job)

I think she is coming along nicely and am glad to finally have the tool boxes on there. I have modified an older roll cage (which i swapped with a fellow member) in order to put the tool boxes on for shows/meets and still have the seatbelts in somewhat. The diagonal bars have sleeves that allow me to unbolt them, and put the tool boxes on for short trips. For daily driving, I just bolt it all back together.

Lookin' good. Don't see too many with toolboxes.

I would like to know more about the Toy Story Toyota...

I know about the Toy Story Toyota, I'd like to know what YOU were doing next to it.

We were going to have a demolition derby inside the thunder dome... j/k

We were both contacted by Best Geek Blog Ever to do a little display outside of the Hero Complex Gallery in LA. Their art show theme currently is "Righteous rides and the dudes who drive them." So pretty much any type of movie related vehicle art was displayed and we parked outside for the day. The Toy Story Toyota owner is a cool guy and local to our area I believe. You will see coverage on him in the web series "Beyond the Gate," along with a few other JP Jeep owners on here.

Had a little help last weekend putting on the new Crown Front bumper. What a great supervisor :)

Its movie prop that Jurassic Con borrowed from MEL studios, who did most of the sfx and whatnot for the movie. We had a 20th anniversary showing in LA for the movie and set up a small display with some of the clothing and props. This guy just happened to follow me home for a night haha.
