My Jurassic Camper rendering. Advice before I commit?
My Jurassic Camper rendering. Advice before I commit?
Just bought an old camper for my old truck. I threw together a rendering in photoshop before I commit to the paint and decals. The red lines are not parallel and they are leaning forward because I am following the lines already on the campers frame. Any recommendations and advice would be awesome!

I gave a little update to the rendering already.
This is more along the lines.

dont do that, but i say spend money and time painting the whole camper. The camper is looking tired and when you go to sell it on to the next guy you can make a little profit. If you do a JP theme it will be yours forever and there will be a time when you dont want it anymore.

I agree that it would be very difficult reselling later on. Also red paint fades very quickly, which could also hurt resale.
If you really want a JP theme, I would probably go with an OD green, and put the InGen logo on the sides in white plasti-dip so it is removable.

My 2 cents is to buy a vinyl cutter and cut the three strips for the colors instead of using paint. I'm not sure how well this will adhere to a camper.

Needs a base coat of charcoal gray. Make it more industrial looking and less camper. Add in "Jurassic Mobile Outpost" or something similar.

my $0.02 is that camper is pretty ugly and nothing you can put on it will make it look better

if i was to paint the whole thing a dark color then i would also be prepared to run the a/c more or constant. Those dang campers heat up like a oven once the sun hits the shell.

In an effort to keep it light colored and resell-able, maybe do a base coat of the sand beige or similar, then do hunter green stripes/accents. Seems like it would be a little less ostentatious that way while still paying homage to JP. Or go Jurassic world color scheme
